Chieming, Deutschland - In the district of Traunstein, technical assistance for the fire brigade is a daily business. The operations range from water damage in the basement to serious traffic accidents. In this context, 16 firefighters from the towns of Matzing, Traunreut, Traunwalchen, Wolkersdorf and the Fire Brigade B/S/H/Traunreut successfully took part in a course of several weeks, which was organized by the Traunstein district fire brigade association. In both exercises, it was necessary to carry out the correct security measures, rescue campaigns and medical initial care. All test participants received their certificates during a small ceremony, while four participants have to make up for the exam later. Rieder expressed himself optimistically about the performance of the test subjects and encouraged the fire brigade for continuous further training.

The training program of the district fire brigade association includes a total of around 50 different types of course, such as KFV Traunstein. The current 8th edition of the course catalog was published on November 26, 2024 and offers about 3,200 places for interested firefighters, whereby the goal is to expand knowledge and skills.
