Innovative White Cubes: Linz celebrates new art worlds in the castle museum

Linz, Österreich - On March 25, 2025, the new exhibition rooms, the so -called White Cubes, were ceremoniously opened in the Linz Castle Museum. Governor Thomas Stelzer (ÖVP) described these modern rooms as innovative exhibition and mediation concepts that combine technical excellence with artistic diversity. The redesign of the permanent exhibition currently includes the dismantling of the arcade in the second castle courtyard and a reorganization of the department for archeology, primary and early history. Trenkwalder shows an overall work in the White Cubes, which includes fifteen tall ceramic sculptures, installations and graphics.

The Oölkg (Upper Austrian State Culture Society) supports the project to pay attention to outstanding Upper Austrian artists.
