Darts World Cup 2025: More participants, more excitement and more tickets!
The upcoming world championship in Alexandra Palace in London, which begins on Sunday evening, could be the last of its kind with 96 participants. According to the long -standing association boss Barry Hearn, who spoke in British sports radio and talking, plans for a reform are underway, which already provides for an increase to 128 starters for the next year. According to Hearn, over 300,000 tickets could be sold, which gives the event a new dimension. This year the 90,000 tickets were out of print in just 15 minutes, which confirms the proven fan interest.
New format for 2025 planned
The Darts World Cup will be held in 2025 from December 15th to January 3, whereby the format could change to reflect on increasing demand. From 2024, four more days are to be introduced with eight sessions, which would provide over 25,000 additional tickets. Hearn also questioned whether the West Hall of Alexandra Palace, which only offers space for around 3,500 spectators, could still be a suitable venue. Top players such as world champion Luke Humphries and Michael van Gerwen are open to these changes and demand more sessions to serve the interest in viewing.
In a completely different world, Tom Hearn, a popular TikTok artist, causes a stir. With over 500,000 followers and 130 million calls, it was awarded Et Canada as one of the best Queer Tikok Creators 2023. His latest program "How fabulous is that?!" currently tours in front of sold -out houses. Hearn is also known for his appearances in TV productions and film projects, including "Children Ruin Everything" and "Good Sam", and is present with its humorous content in the media such as NBC's "Today Show" and the BBC
