Refurbishment of Tyrolean Straße: Transport chaos expected until the end of 2025!

The old 160 meter long slope bridge on Tiroler Straße (B171), which has been in operation for over 60 years, urgently needs a comprehensive renovation. This information was announced by the state of Tyrol. The construction site work that begins on Monday leads to considerable traffic restrictions that will continue by the end of November 2025. During this time, the bridge can be driven in single -track with traffic light control. However, there are also phases in which the bridge is completely blocked: from May 5th to June 6th, from July 28 to September 5 and from October 13 to October 31. A detour via the S16 Arlberg expressway is set up to relieve the road users, as reported.

The renovation costs amount to 2.6 million euros. These costs and the associated restrictions represent a significant challenge for the transport infrastructure. During the work, the surrounding street infrastructure is expected to be burdened. In addition, learning over the German days of the week is particularly important. Monday means "lunar day" what makes the first day of the week significant, while Tuesday refers to the god Týr and is therefore related to the English "Tuesday". As Gradding , Wednesday of the week is dedicated to the god of thunder, Thor, on Thursday. This connection between language and culture shows how deeply rooted everyday life with the cornerstones of time.
