Huge fun in the farmers' ball: Wiesenfeld celebrates with music and raffle!

In the Gasthaus Bekier in Wiesenfeld, the atmosphere was at the peak this evening. The St. Veiter Bauernbund, supported by the Landjugend St. Veit, organized the traditional farmers' ball, which attracted guests from all over the region. Already in the entrance and bar area there was a dense crowding when the "Goasssteigbuam" with their lively melodies provided the best entertainment. The rural youth provided additional variety with amusing performances and a raffle that offered numerous great prizes. The Gasthaus team took care of the physical well-being of the guests, and all signs indicated to a successful event, such as Noen reported .

At the same time, the largest carnival party took place on the east bank of the Ammersee, carried out by the Landjugend Inning. Over 1200 enthusiastic celebrating poured into the gymnasium on Schornstrasse. Surprisingly, due to the enormous rush, an admission stop had to be imposed in the first 90 minutes after the start to ensure the safety of the visitors. "We wanted to maintain the joy in the event," said Kilian Sturm, the chairman of the Landjugend Inning, in an interview with the Starnberger Merkur . Despite the high number of visitors, the mood remained peaceful and happy, without incidents.

a new concept for success

The Landjugend Inning had implemented a new concept for this carnival party, which, among other things, moved the entrance to the back of the hall to defuse the needle tiller staircase. Additional booths, including one for the infamous good mass and another for après-ski classics, expanded the offer and enabled the guests to linger immediately. There was dancing until the early hours of the morning, while DJ Thomas Engelmann and the party band Sauwuid kept up the mood. The guests traveled from a radius of 30 to 40 kilometers, which underlines the impressive range of the event.

So both events showed how important community celebrations are for local culture. While the tradition of the farmers' ball was kept alive in Wiesenfeld, Inning made an exclamation mark for future festivals with the largest carnival party on the east bank. The anticipation for next year is already noticeable in both communities.
