The mischief strikes! In the cold streets of Ahrensburg and Trittau, alleged change of change fraudsters are up to mischief! On November 6th and 7th, 2024, two brazen trick theft took place, which should not only be shocking for the victims, but also attract the attention of the police!
The first incident occurred in the afternoon of November 6th in the parking lot at the Nessler-Park in Ahrensburg when an 84-year-old senior was involved in a perfidious plan. The unknown, neatly packed in a navy blade coat and a poodle hat, asked for help with changing money to operate a parking machine. As soon as the helpful pensioner had pulled out his wallet, the crook grabbed 200 euros unnoticed! The senior noticed the theft at home - how shocking!

The following day, November 7th, a 68-year-old was also victim of an age on a discounter car park in Trittau. Here the fraudster asked for change, and before the victim could escape from his unfortunate situation, his 150 euros had disappeared from the wallet! The perpetrator, approx. 170 cm tall and wrapped in a dark jacket - his phenotype described as Asian - managed to escape quickly and unnoticed.
The police urgently warns of these criminal machinations! In such situations, vigilance is required: keep a distance, do not let strangers look into the wallet and alert others if you are targeting such fraudsters.
