In the early morning of October 27, 2024, at 1:30 a.m., a 39-year-old man from Hildesheim on the B1 in Nordstenmen got into great difficulties. With his Kia, which he steered from Hildesheim towards north states, he lost control of the vehicle. The chaos started when the car not only came off the road, but also crashed into a street tree with full force and finally ended in the side ditch. Surprisingly, the driver was not injured, but the tree was significantly damaged - a real shock moment!

The incoming police officers quickly discovered that the accident was not just a simple mishap. The driver was drunk! After the accident, he was brought directly to the police station in Sarstedt, where a blood sample was taken from him to precisely determine the alcohol level. His driver's license was immediately secured. For him, the night has fatal consequences: criminal proceedings for danger to road traffic is now in the house.
