Hermsdorf, Deutschland - Saale-Holzland-Kreis (ots)

For two road users, their journey in the darkness of Hermsdorf and Stadtroda ended suddenly. In the early morning hours of Tuesday, a 31-year-old cyclist was stopped by the police and checked for his driving ability. The result: an alarming breath alcohol value of over 1.7 per thousand! It was significantly above the legal limit of 1.6 per thousand. The blood was immediately followed in the clinic - his bike tour was finally ended.

without driving license on the street

But not only the cyclist was unlucky! In Stadtroda, a 24-year-old came under a close look at his car. The sobering statement: he had no valid driving license. This shock meant that he also had to compete on foot in the truest sense of the word. Two very insightful controls show that the police do not compromise on traffic safety! The night brought delicate situations to light in this region.
