In the night from Monday to Tuesday, a total of six vans were broken out in Affinghausen and Sulingen. The perpetrators aimed at the vehicles and caused enormous damage of over 20,000 euros. In Affinghausen, a side window of a van was destroyed on Eichenstrasse. In Sulingen, the burglars violently opened the side doors or rear doors of the vehicles in several streets, including the Elisabeth-Selbers-Weg and the Malvenweg. High -quality tools and work equipment were mainly stolen from these vehicles. The first accident occurred at around 10:00 a.m. on Bremer Strasse in Barrien. Here a 26-year-old driver had to stop due to traffic when a 25-year-old driver who drove behind too quickly reacted and opened too late. Fortunately, the two drivers and a 21-year-old passenger in the 26-year-old car were only slightly injured, but needed medical care. Both vehicles were no longer ready to drive after the impact and had to be towed, the damage amounts to around 5,500 euros.

Another traffic accident fan will take place on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the confluence with B 51 / Industriestraße. A 32-year-old driver wanted to turn left at this intersection and overlooked the oncoming traffic. As a result, there was a frontal collision with the vehicle of a 27-year-old woman. Fortunately, there were only minor injuries from both drivers here. The property damage is around 14,000 euros, both cars also had to be towed.

In Neubruchhausen the van stood in front of a warehouse in the Jakobsweg and in Northern Wohlde in Malvenweg. Here, too, tools were stolen, which contributes to uncertainty among the vehicle owners.
