Alarm mood in Röbel and Mirow! Criminals are up to mischief and brazenly rob their way through the region. Five transporters were broken into and valuable tools were targeted by unknown people. The police are investigating and are asking the public for help, because the perpetrators are currently on a rampage!

A particularly blatant incident occurred in Priborn in broad daylight: between 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. the thieves struck and broke into a VW Crafter that was parked in a driveway. The police estimate the damage caused by the theft at around 7,000 euros. Things were also turbulent in Lexow near Walow in the morning: while construction workers were toiling away, thieves broke into an unsecured Mercedes van that was parked near a construction site. They stole tools worth over 2,000 euros. Anyone who thinks the night is safer is wrong: Unknown people stole from an Opel van in Röbel on Tuesday night while the vehicles were unprotected in a parking lot.

The perpetrators are organized crooks!

The perpetrators' scam runs like a common thread through the incidents: They target commercially used vans, which are often parked in residential areas. The police suspect that the crooks scout the area beforehand and wait for the workers to finish work. In Mirow, two vans were broken into at the same time on Granzower Strasse - the thieves had a real feast! The estimated damage from theft amounts to at least 6,000 euros, plus high repair costs for the broken-in vehicles.

The criminal police are now looking for witnesses! Anyone who noticed suspicious activity or vehicles in the cities mentioned at the time in question is asked to contact us immediately. Your tip could be crucial! Companies should urgently secure their vans better: a garage or a locked backyard makes it more difficult for thieves to carry out their robberies. Protect yourself!
