Petrol station robbery in Güdderath: perpetrator attacked employees with a pistol!
Mönchengladbach, Germany
In a dramatic nighttime robbery, a masked man threatened a gas station in Güdderath with a pistol at around 11:30 p.m. on November 4th and stole a three-figure sum of money! The perpetrator deliberately sneaked up to his victim via the entrance to the truck stop on Marie-Bernays-Ring. As soon as he arrived in the sales room, he pulled out the gun and bluntly demanded money from the cash register.
The victim, a courageous gas station employee, was fortunately uninjured after the robber hit him in the face with the gun. In a shocking moment, the employee handed the perpetrator both cash notes and coins in a sandwich bag! Like in an action-packed film, the robber then fled along Marie-Juchacz-Straße towards the A61 entrance. Unfortunately, immediate searches, even with a helicopter, were unsuccessful.
Description of the perpetrator
The man being sought is described as being around 20-25 years old, an impressive 1.70 meters tall with short black hair. His appearance was foreign and his accent was unidentifiable. Wearing a medical mask, a black jacket and dark jeans, he was well equipped to avoid being recognized. The police are now looking for witnesses who can provide information about the perpetrator. Anyone who keeps their eyes open and has seen something should urgently call 02161-290!
