Heavy traffic accident in Emmerich: Car overturns, two injured!

On Wednesday morning, October 23, 2024, a dramatic traffic accident happened around 8:35 a.m., which resulted in serious injuries for two occupants. Dramatic scenes take place when a VW Up, directed by a 45-year-old man from Arnhem (Netherlands), collided with a Hyundai Tucson, who was authorized by a 62-year-old man from Spijk (Netherlands).

The Hyundai Tucson was on the way towards Beek when the terrible collision occurred. The force of the impact was so strong that the VW Up was thrown into the air and overturned in order to then land on the roof. The two inmates of the Hyundai, the driver and his 60-year-old passenger suffered serious injuries and urgently had to be transported to the hospital.

While the person who caused the accident from Arnhem was very lucky and was unharmed, the other two was anything but light. The situation required the rapid use of rescue workers and a towing service, since both vehicles were no longer ready to drive after the impact. Beeker Straße remained completely closed until around 10:30 a.m.
