On Wednesday evening, a serious traffic accident occurred on the B14 in Eigeltingen, a place in the Constance district, in which three occupants were injured. At around 6:45 p.m., a 21-year-old woman drove her Toyota from Stockach towards Tuttlingen when a 72-year-old Ford driver wanted to turn left from the K6111 to the left. He apparently overlooked the Toyota entitled to right, which led to a collision of the two vehicles in the confluence area.
The impact was so violent that the Toyota was rejected from the road and thrown into an adjacent green strip. Both the driver and her 21-year-old passenger suffered serious injuries. A rescue helicopter was requested immediately and transported the passenger to a nearby clinic. The alleged person who caused the accident, which was slightly injured, and the driver also had to be transported to the hospital by ambulance in order to be taken care of there.

The two vehicles were significantly damaged by the collision and were no longer ready to drive, which is why towing services removed the cars from the scene of the accident. The amount of damage is estimated at around 18,000 euros, which concerns the financial loss for those involved. In order to clarify the course of the accident, the traffic experts from the Mühlhausen-Ehingen transport service were commissioned to investigate.
When the volunteer fire brigade arrived at the scene of the accident, they provided technical assistance to cope with the situation and to ensure the safety of the helpers and other road users. The federal road was closed until around 9:15 p.m. during the accident recording in both directions to enable an undisturbed examination by the emergency services.
This incident underlines the importance of traffic safety and the dangers that can arise from the disregard of ancestral rules.
