Mannheim in shock! on Saturday evening, around 8:30 p.m., a dramatic accident occurred on Waldhofstrasse between an Opel and a tram. The impact left a total damage of a whopping 18,000 euros! The night should be a lesson for the 20-year-old opel driver, which he doesn't forget so quickly.
The young man was traveling with his Opel towards Luzenberg. Suddenly the carelessness came over: Despite the red traffic light, he turned left into Humboldtstrasse and overlooked the approaching tram. The collision was inevitable! His car was literally dragged along like a toy several meters and finally stopped in the track bed. A miracle that nobody was hurt! To be on the safe side, the person who caused the accident was taken to the hospital by the emergency services. The Opel was so badly damaged that it had to be towed.
