Around 9:15 p.m., a 69-year-old was traveling with his Volkswagen towards Kanalstrasse when the accident happened. The driver tried to switch from the left to the right lane and overlooked the fact that a Ford was on the right lane at the same time. BOOM! The result: a violent collision that turned the Löhner's VW and finally brought a standstill.

With this crash, both the VW driver and his passenger were slightly injured and had to be taken care of immediately. An ambulance was quickly on site and brought the two to the local hospital for outpatient treatment.
