Police sleuths: 26-year-old arrested with stolen Audi!
Win– On Sunday afternoon, October 20, 2024, a 26-year-old man was arrested in Siegen, and the reason? A police officer with an excellent instinct! In his free time, the astute official browsed a car sales platform and came across a tempting offer: an Audi that was far too cheap. The policeman's quick wit set alarm bells ringing, so they arranged to meet in a supermarket parking lot on Sandstrasse. The suspicious price and the pushy seller made him suspicious.
The investigator acted quickly and informed his colleagues from the Siegen station. When checking the vehicle and the seller, the law enforcement officers had a nasty surprise: the Audi was reported stolen, as were the license plates. But that wasn't everything! Inside the car, the police not only found additional stolen license plates, but also fake vehicle documents! Things took a dramatic turn when it was discovered that the 26-year-old was carrying a butterfly knife and was under the influence of drugs. An on-site drug test provided proof: positive!
Additional offenses and arrest
But the shocking news didn't stop there. A further check revealed that the man did not have a valid driver's license. And as if that wasn't enough, there were two arrest warrants against him! The 26-year-old was temporarily arrested and a blood sample was taken. Detectives have now begun their investigation, and while the details emerge, it remains to be seen what else this exciting case will reveal.
