Knife attack in the Bühl: 27-year-old injured passers-by in the city garden!
On Wednesday evening there was a threatening incident in the Bühl city garden that triggered a massive police operation. A 27-year-old man who was apparently in a mental state of emergency started at around 11 p.m. with a knife on a 25-year-old. This was on the way home when the attacker suddenly jumped out of a bush and attacked him.
The attack happened without any warning, which made the situation particularly dangerous for the victim. Fortunately, the 25-year-old managed to prevent serious injuries through quick dodging and defensive movements, but he had to be treated on an outpatient basis in a clinic.
police operation and arrest
After the incident, immediate search measures were initiated to find the perpetrator. Despite the intensive search, the alleged attacker could not be localized at first. About two hours later, however, the officials received a hint that led them to Prälat-Fischer-Strasse. There they managed to overwhelm and arrest the 27-year-old. In this arrest, the police found another knife with him, which underlined the threat situation.
The 27-year-old was admitted to a special clinic after the arrest in order to obtain necessary psychological care. At the same time, an investigation is underway against him for dangerous bodily harm, which should continue to process the situation legally. The incident raises further questions about security in public spaces and makes concern about mental illnesses in society again.
Details about this incident are still sparse, but reports www.presseportal.de Calls witnesses of the incident for help to gain further knowledge.
