fire alarm in Bad Säckingen! On Sunday, November 17, 2024, around 1:40 p.m., a fire broke out in a kitchen of a two -family house on Rheinstrasse. A small household assistant, a non -switched hot air fryer, could have been the trigger of the drama. The bottle of sunflower oil, which was right next to the deep fryer, contributed to the frightening spread of the flames!

The fire brigade was quickly on hand after the smoke detector urged the alarm. With a deployment of around 22 firefighters and six vehicles, the forces of the fire brigades Bad Säckingen and Wallbach managed to extinguish the fire before serious damage could occur throughout the house. Fortunately, every resident was unharmed this time, but the material damage is enormous: it is estimated that the property damage is between 10,000 and 15,000 euros. The kitchen itself is now a rubble field, while the remaining rooms of the house remained unaffected.
