A dramatic accident shocks the city of Langen! On Monday evening, a 65-year-old jogger on Kreisstraße 168 between Langen and Egelsbach was recorded by an approaching BMW. The incident occurred shortly before 5 p.m. when the athlete suddenly crossed the street. The 53-year-old driver could not brake in time, and the impact catapulted the jogger next to the road. He was immediately admitted to a hospital with the most serious injuries. The district road remained completely closed during the accident, which caused considerable traffic jams.

But that was not the only incident on this rainy day. On Sunday afternoon, a stranger drove in a gray car on the southern Ringstrasse and rammed a parking space with full force. The damage is estimated at around 4,000 euros, but instead of taking care of the consequences, the stranger left the dust. Witnesses reported that the vehicle was wearing a Slovak license plate (NP 161) and the driver obviously had run over a red traffic light before escaping towards Egelsbach.
