Pfersee, Augsburg, Deutschland - Augsburg (ots) - drama in the Schlösslepark! A tremendous incident shook Augsburg when a 16-year-old was brutally attacked with a hammer on Thursday, November 15, 2024. The attack happened when a group of four young people suddenly rushed to the innocent victim. Only seconds later one of them held their hammer in their hands and mercilessly hit the boy's head. After the hideous attack, the group of perpetrators fled from the crime scene, while the seriously injured victim was taken to a hospital.

The police immediately switched on investigations and made a 14-year-old suspect a little later. Against this boy and his three fleeting accomplices are now being investigated for dangerous bodily harm. The accomplices were described as masked young people, with dark clothing and a dangerous attitude. The severity of the 16-year-old's injury led to the public prosecutor's office now also investigated because of attempted manslaughter.
