Pößneck, Saale-Orla-Kreis -shock on the streets: A dramatic traffic accident saw four people in the hospitals on Sunday. At 11:00 a.m. there was a terrible frontal collision on the country road between Pößneck and Kleintembach. A 36-year-old driver lost control of her Hyundai in a right curve and raced onto the oncoming lane. There she met a Skoda frontally, whose driver and two passengers were all injured.

The collision led to a difficult interaction between the vehicles: Fortunately, the inmates of the Skoda only wore minor injuries, the person who caused the accident had to be taken to the hospital seriously. All four participants were immediately transported to nearby hospitals in order to maintain the necessary medical treatment. The police estimate the total economic damage to shocking 45,000 euros for both cars that had to be picked up by a towing service.
The country road had to be completely closed during the rescue measures and the accident recording for around an hour, which led to considerable traffic disruptions. A nightmare for all drivers who were traveling during this time!
