A dramatic traffic accident on the B50 caused massive traffic jams on Tuesday morning, November 19, 2024, shortly after 07:40 a.m. A 43-year-old car driver from the direction of Simmern tried to drive past a van. But he overlooked the oncoming tractorizer and collided with him on the side! The force of the impact left the car in the middle of the street and both vehicles were no longer ready to drive.

The B50 was completely blocked for two hours, which led to a huge backlog in both directions! The traffic nerve in this area was therefore totally paralyzed! Fortunately, the accident only remained in property damage, which is in the lower five -digit range. The participants in the accident remained unharmed, a relief in this critical situation.
