It happened when a 76-year-old man in the Saarbrücken regional association was contacted by unscrupulous telephone fraudsters. The caller, who spent his grandson, provoked a shock moment that lured the victim into a trap. In tears, the fraudster announced that he had involved in a serious traffic accident. In order to avert an impending prison sentence, he urgently needs to pay for a deposit. Believe, he acted with the best of intentions, the naive senior handed over a five -digit amount of cash to a supposed deliverer who appeared as a messenger of money.
The Saarland police are now on the hunt for the monetary messenger and has published photographs that show the suspect. This could be filmed during the transfer of money - the police hope for the support of the population!
