A dark weekend oversch down the city of Lüneburg! On Friday evening there was a series of burglaries in the Oedem district. Unknown pushers broke into single-family and row houses and used terrace doors and skylights to get access. The aim of the thieves was primarily jewelry and cash. These criminal activities went through the night and were also reported in other parts of the city such as Redder and Siemensstrasse. The police are looking for information on 04131/8306-2215.

Not only burglars were up to mischief! A car was broken up in Kirchgellersen to steal cash from the interior. In Dahlenburg, a stranger crashed against a house wall with his car. The driver fled on foot, while the police only found the damaged car at the scene and thus took up the investigation.

In Uelzen there were several incidents on Saturday! A speed meter found numerous speed violations. An undisturbed driver raced through a 100 zone at 138 km/h. The most extraordinary incident? An Audi TT escaped the controlling police after the driver irresponsible. The search ended with the arrest of a 21-year-old driver whose driver's license had already been withdrawn.

The criminal chaos expanded to include incidents in pubs, where two women were involved in a physical argument and a 16-year-old rioted in front of a supermarket and resisted the police officers! He had not only insulted customers, but also sprayed with irritant gas. It gets serious for him: he now looks forward to criminal consequences!

To make matters worse, an 89-year-old lady in the vineyard path has become the victim of an infamed theft! After a weakness, it was stolen by unknown perpetrators who stole their rollator with valuables. In this case, the police also ask for clues.
