Burglaries and pick -up steels: Hemer on alert!

alarm in Hemer! On Wednesday between 16.40 and 7.15 p.m., unknown people invaded an apartment of an apartment building on Memeler Straße. Through a clever action via a rain barrel, the perpetrators managed to break up a window and get into the building. But the shock: Despite the intensive search, the intruders found no valuable prey! The police were quickly on site, secured traces and surveyed protected neighbors. A witness reported a "rumbling" out of the apartment when a suspicious guy was said to have been on the stairwell.

Another break -in beats alarm

But that wasn't all! On the same evening, a second break -in was reported in an apartment building on Voßstraße, exactly between 6.30 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. But here too: no prey! The burglars climbed over a balcony, cracked a window and searched the apartment, but obviously found nothing valuable.
