A weekend full of criminal activities in Bad Homburg and the surrounding area! A single -family house was the destination of unscrupulous burglars that strike in Köppern between Friday evening and Monday afternoon. In the meadow path, the perpetrators penetrated through a balcony into the house and started looking for valuables. With an unmistaked value of the value they found, they escaped undetected and left property damage of 200 euros. The police in Bad Homburg are urgently looking for witnesses who can provide information on the incident.

The thieves were not only active in houses! On the same weekend, they devastated construction sites in Schmitten and Königstein. In Schillerstraße in Schmitten, strangers cracked the safety devices of an excavator and stole devices worth 10,000 euros - including a stem hammer and a vibrating plate! Between Saturday and Monday, further tools worth several thousand euros were stolen between Saturday and Monday in Wiesbadener Straße in Königstein. Here, too, the police stay in search of traces and hopes for information from the population.

Another dramatic incident occurred on Monday in Grävenwiesbach when a dangerous goods truck tipped over. The driver, a 38-year-old Koblenzer, wanted to deliver liquid gas and navigated on an inappropriate dirt road due to a lack of local knowledge. The wet floor gave up and the truck overturned - luckily there was no danger from the vehicle, but the driver had to go to the hospital injured! The truck remains at the scene of the accident for the time being, while a salvage company is commissioned to clean up.
