Test thieves: police warn of rising vehicle thefts!

The Friedberg police have now started witness surveys and calls on all car owners to thoroughly check their vehicles. The law enforcement officers notice that many thefts could have been avoided by the simple measure of completing the vehicles. A simple test on the door handle can often ensure that the vehicle is actually complete, even if electronic systems sometimes fail.

In Ober-Mörlen, other investigators reported that a break-in into an agricultural device hall in the throat path. Unknown perpetrators were targeting the GPS devices from two tractors. These had an estimated total value of around 7,000 euros. The police asks witnesses who noticed something suspicious between Saturday afternoon, 4 p.m. and Monday morning, 10 a.m.
