In a shocking incident, there were two victims who believed in a tempting online offer. Instead of the hoped -for brand new iPhone 16 Pro Max, a buyer was amazed when she found only a cheap dummy in the packaging!

The Iserlohner, who was concerned for her security and also followed the tips from the police, made a fatal mistake. After a few negotiations over an online marketplace, she drove to Gelsenkirchen to pick up the supposed bargain. There, in front of an inconspicuous house, she received a sealed packaging. But the nasty surprise came at home: the latest iPhone could not be switched on and was actually a huge disappointment! Out of anger and frustration, the buyer filed a complaint for fraud.

The seller, who supposedly needed money quickly, deceived the quick handover ... and disappeared with the money! At the latest when trying to register the device with your Apple ID, it was clear: Here, too, these were counterfeits!
