In an angry frenzy on Autobahn 1 in Bakum, on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 8:00 p.m., a dramatic traffic accident that attracted everyone! An alcoholic 39-year-old driver from the Steinfurt district raced with his VW straight towards Osnabrück when he plunged into the densely lively construction site like a wild bull. With impressive behavior, he pushed other drivers on the left lane to make room - a step that had devastating consequences.
The driver noticed too late that he should have switched on the middle lanes and crashed into the warning baks with full force that locked the area. Its VW suffered massive damage! But that was not the end of the story: Instead of providing help immediately, the person who caused the accident opposed the 41-year-old Audi driver from Wuppertal in the side strip and hung threats not to call the police before he finally returned to his broken car and continued his journey-at least for a short time!
alcohol and fake driver's license
The immediately alarmed motorway police did not long for long and found the two men in the Bakumer Wiesen car park. When checking the 39-year-old, the officials not only discovered an intensive smell of alcohol, but also that the man was well above the limit with 1.05 per thousand. A blood sample was the only option! It was also shocking that his driver's license was fake, a clear case of fraud! And that's not all: he had no driving license at all and there is a suspicion that the Georgian is illegally in the country.
Now the accident driver faces a draconian investigation towards several crimes! In addition, measures for deportation have already been initiated after the responsible immigration office has been informed. An irresponsible behavior that not only brought him, but also other road users in great danger!
