Lukas Haker: Young mayoral candidate wants to reinvent Wiesbaden!

Lukas Haker, a 25-year-old city councilor from Die PARTEI, was today unanimously nominated as mayoral candidate for the city of Wiesbaden. Jens Haker, the treasurer of the district association, praised him as a representative of a “young, ambitious generation” that is supposed to represent a breath of fresh air in politics. Haker himself said that his party's decision shows that he can unite the city while standing out from his competitors. “The lilies in the Wiesbaden city coat of arms recently turned into bananas – we have to iron them straight again!” he explained and presented his ambitious plans to ainsi.ly.

Future visions for Wiesbaden

The central points of his campaign include the expansion of a subway network, the creation of a “stoner's paradise” on Elsässer Platz and the redesign of the city center. Haker calls for an “interior-free car city” and wants to create more space for the economy. “Money! Money! and even more money!” is his belief to implement these ideas. These ideas aim to make Wiesbaden a more attractive location and increase the quality of life of its citizens.

Interestingly, Lukas Haker recently announced that he would also be joining the town hall faction of Alliance 90/The Greens, which could further strengthen his political career. According to the Green parliamentary group in Wiesbaden This could provide him with additional support in his endeavors. Through this connection, the dynamic Haker, together with other political actors, could work even more decisively towards sustainable development and innovation in Wiesbaden.
