Insolvians in NRW rise to record high - FDP raises the alarm!
alarming numbers from North Rhine-Westphalia: The number of corporate insolvencies in the third quarter of 2024 with 1,461 applications reached a seven-year high. Dietmar Brockes, the economic policy spokesman for the FDP parliamentary group, sees the ideologically driven economic policy, in particular on the part of the Greens, as the main cause of this worrying development. In an urgent appeal, he explains: "The ideological green economic policy eats our prosperity!" Companies are therefore under massive pressure through rising energy prices and exuberant bureaucracy, which is strongly affected by the backbone of the economy, the small and medium -sized companies. Brockes calls for immediate relief and a political U -turn.
FDP calls for clear measures
In view of the dramatic situation, the FDP calls for a reduction in energy and tax load and the reduction of unnecessary bureaucratic hurdles. "We need an economic policy that promotes growth, innovation and entrepreneurial freedom," says Brockes. The construction industry as well as trade and service industry, which are most affected by the bankruptcies, are exemplary for the challenges that the companies in NRW are facing. Brockes also emphasizes that the current politics of the black and green state government endanger the country's economic substance, while the minister rely on a sitting out of the crisis instead of actively developing solutions.Another point is the need to reduce the real estate transfer tax and property tax and to promote innovations in the middle class. Brockes, who has been active in the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia since 2000, makes it clear: "The concerns and needs of our companies have to be taken seriously before other companies and jobs are lost" (Brockes.de).
This dramatic situation requires urgent measures and a rethink in the country's economic policy. The FDP parliamentary group continues to be vehemently committed to a policy that relies on the market economy, good framework conditions and progress instead of endangering prosperity, as it represents in its analysis of increasing corporate insolvencies ( Lokalklick.eu ).
