104 years young: Josef Sieweke's solemn birthday!

Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock, Deutschland - Josef Sieweke from Holte-Stukenbrock Castle celebrated his 104th birthday on January 2, 2025 and is one of the oldest residents of the city. The vigorous senior enjoys good health and attributes his old age to happiness and genes. His sisters also reached an age of over 90 years. Sieweke can recite poems and tells with a lot of wit about his moving life.

The birthday child is the 12th out of 13 children and worked as a turner. He lived with his wife Theresia, who died in 2016 for 71 years and ran a small agriculture in the sideline. This marriage emerged from this marriage who have already given him eleven grandchildren and 23 great -grandchildren, all of whom live nearby. His celebration in Café Wölke was visited by around 45 guests, including friends and relatives.

Josef Siweke is well known in his settlement and goes for a walk with a rollator every day. His grandchildren Jennifer Sieweke and Sylvia Becker, who worked in the organization team, were particularly active and worked closely with the regulatory office to plan the celebrations. The celebrations also included an impressive birthday convoy, which was led with an old fire engine of the “Poppnasen” carnival group. Josef Siweke was transported in the car of his eldest daughter Hannes and Elisabeth Teutrine and visited several stations, in which small festivities took place, including confetti anons and balloons. The celebration ended at his first apartment building on Berliner Strasse, where he looked at his large family, who stayed in Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock or returned.

The family also designed a family coat of arms for its 100th birthday, which was printed on T-shirts. This coat of arms contains symbols that stand for craftsmanship, down -to -earthness, growth, chicken maintenance and special family moments.
