Austrians celebrate record satisfaction: 2024 is remembered as a top year!
The Austrians are optimistic about 2024. According to a survey by Willhaben expressed 76 percent of the respondents that they perceived as "very good" or "rather good"-a clear increase compared to the previous year, in which only 71.5 percent reported positively. Women and young people between the ages of 30 and 39 and the respondents from the federal states of Vorarlberg, Tyrol and Salzburg are particularly optimistic. A look into the future shows that 86.4 percent of those surveyed expect a "very good" or at least "rather good year" 2025. In the first place in the list of priorities there are health and more time for family. Interestingly, 43.3 percent of the participants stated that they did not have New Year's resolutions, although almost a third was able to successfully implement their destinations from 2024. The survey included over 2,857 participants and illustrates the continuing optimism in Austrian society.

The study participants are increasingly avoiding activities such as visiting arcades or car cinemas, with 82 or 79 percent, while eating and flea markets are gaining popularity.
