Lustenau, Österreich - In Lustenau, an old tradition is revived! On February 8, 2025, the first Lustenauer Benefiz Fight Night takes place, organized by the north stands Lustenau and the Lobos Fight Club from Rankweil. After more than 60 years of break, boxing and the gymnastics association Lustenau, which comes from the roots of today's football club Austria Lustenau, come back onto the big stage. The event is designed as a library of memories and shows a historical archive photo of boxing in Lustenau. Robin Hume from the north grandstand describes how the gymnastics association was founded in 1907 and developed from a football club to a martial arts event. Mathias "Maki the Lion" Martic, himself a former footballer, will be in the ring at the box event and is happy to combine football and martial arts.
