two accidents, one day

The rescue of the two accident vehicles required an extensive use: the Renault was lifted out of the danger zone with the help of a loading crane, while the Kia was removed by a tow vehicle. After all road cleaning measures were initiated, this was done in close coordination with the police to ensure security on Brunner Straße, which was severely impaired as a result of the accident. During the work, the fire brigade was informed about a second accident on the B36, in which a driver came off the road due to winter conditions and came to a standstill in a water channel. Fortunately, the handlebar was unharmed.

The second accident occurred at 5:15 p.m. on Landesstraße 67. There, an Opel Insignia slipped into a ditch. The Waidhofen fire brigade was called to support. The local fire brigades had already secured the scene of the accident when they arrived. The damaged Opel was finally recovered with a change of change and away from the scene of the accident. The rapid reaction of the emergency services prevented the traffic from being stopped even longer, which could quickly be defused, as the Waidhofen fire brigade on the Thaya confirmed.
