A serious accident occurred on Tuesday around 6:00 p.m. in the Villach-Land district when an 89-year-old man wanted to turn his car onto the B84. There was a collision with a 54-year-old driver who was traveling towards Villach. The collision was so violent that both vehicles crashed into the guiding key. The 54-year-old suffered serious injuries in the accident, while the 89-year-old, his 83-year-old wife and her dog were luckily only slightly injured. All those affected were immediately brought to the Villach State Hospital, where they were treated. The accident drivers' alkotests were negative, which indicates an exclusive accident and no alcohol -related inability to drive. The dog was given to the fire brigade and then handed over to its owners.
