Huge fire in Zahnikon: 76 cars damaged - fire brigade in continuous use!
During the night of the new year, a devastating fire broke out in an underground parking hall in Zäikon, Switzerland. On the late New Year's Eve, at 10 p.m., residents noticed black smoke that was out of the garage, and immediately alerted the fire brigade. Over 100 firefighters from six surrounding fire departments were quickly deployed, but were only able to find the burned Lamborghini as a brand of fire. The vehicle is completely destroyed, and the soot and smoke damage on another 75 vehicles are enormous, reports fireworld.at
The enormous flames also damaged the concrete ceiling of the garage, the stability of which must now be checked by experts. For security reasons, access to the underground car park remains closed for the time being. The exact circumstances of the fire have so far been unclear, and the Aargau cantonal police have started an investigation, such as "https://www.polizei-schweiz.ch/brennender-lamborghini-zufikon-ag/"> police-schweiz.ch . Troubling reports of other incidents on New Year's Eve also give rise to concern, since numerous small fires and disorders were registered by fireworks. Fortunately, despite these incidents, there were no injuries, while the fire brigade cannot temporarily not estimate the extent of property damage.
