Strong and well trained: Wilhelmsburg's fire brigade takes stock!
Last year, the Wilhelmsburg-Stadt volunteer fire brigade faced enormous challenges, which could only be mastered by the intensive training and the tireless use of their excellently trained team. As Commandant Martin Praxl emphasized during the general meeting in the Franzl inn, the continuous learning process about courses and exercises is of crucial importance. The event attracted numerous guests of honor and representatives of the surrounding fire brigade groups from St. Georgen, Ochsenburg and Rotheau, who paid tribute to the fire brigade.
The Wilhelmsburg fire brigade can look back on an impressive balance: almost 9,000 hours were applied for fires, floods and exercises alone. This number not only illustrates the commitment of the volunteers, but also the increasing challenges with which they are confronted. The importance of the role of commander is also emphasized in a report by the Bischweier fire brigade, where it becomes clear that this position is crucial for the organization and effective management of operations.
