Tottenham Hotspur have to admit defeat again in the UEFA Europa League. In the first leg of the round of 16, the Londoners lost 0-1 to AZ Alkmaar. Although the situation is bleak, ÖFB team player Kevin Danso, Spurs' new central defender, is optimistic: "We know what a great team we have, so now it's up to us to prove that in every training and game," quoted laola1.at. Despite the unsatisfactory performance, Danso admits that the team showed too little aggressiveness and did not get the opponent under control. The Europa League remains the last chance for a title this season after Spurs have already failed in both national cup competitions and currently find themselves in 13th place in the Premier League.
