Conny Hütter surprises at the Super-G: victory despite unexpected turn!
in a gripping women's super-G in St. Moritz on Saturday, Styrian ski driver Conny Hütter impressively demonstrated her strength. Despite an unexpected change of plan, shortly before the start, she managed to prevail against strong competitors such as Lara Gut-Behrami from Switzerland and Sofia Goggia from Italy. Hütter noticed in the ORF interview that she thought during the race: "Oh my god, what's going on now!". With a tactically clever ride in the lower part of the route, she secured first place after she had initially not expected as difficult conditions as she had experienced during the tour. Hütter was surprised by the challenges, but changed her plan successfully and prevailed against the 25 other runners, as reported on krone.at
As part of a podcast, Hütter shared her experiences and thoughts about success and wisdom. She emphasized the importance of gratitude and family support in her life, while at the same time she pointed out the triple challenge that it takes to be successful in skiing: "You have to have a storm skull and a bit of a bird," said Hütter. In an exciting race before, namely in the Departure World Cup in Saalbach Hinterglemm, she could choose to prevail against the best drivers and is now a co -favorite for the World Championships in February 2025.
