Austria's tennis women: New talents are fighting for relegation in Vilnius!

Austria's tennis landscape is standing before exciting weeks! From April 8th to April 12th, the Billie-Jean-King-Cup team in Vilnius will compete against strong opponents from Latvia, Portugal and Croatia, such as laola1.at . Under the direction of Captain Marion Maruska, the team expects a challenging week with probably four national struggles. However, the players have to compete without the best talents, Sinja Kraus and Tamira Paszek, who had to cancel their participation due to illness and individual decision. This could prove to be serious weakening.

The inexperienced debutants, Arabella Koller, Ekaterina Perelygina and Mavie Austrian, strengthen a team that hopes for relegation in the Euro Africa zone. While Latvia with star player Jelena Ostapenko (WTA 25) and Anastasia Sevastova can come up with, Portugal and Croatia seem to be less threatening without their leading player.
