In an exciting competition, the “Regional Conference of Youth” (RCOY) as a national winner of the European Youth Carl Prize 2025. The RCOY, which is organized by the Foundation for International Charles Prize and the European Parliament, is a platform that supports young people in strengthening their voices in climate policy. The competition was great with 19-submitted projects, but the RCOY convinced with her commitment to bring youth from all over Europe together and give them the tools to actively participate in global climate strategies, as stated in a message from APA-OTS.
The Rcoy is particularly committed to the voice of Europe's youth in international climate policy. It took place in Vienna from May 10th to 12th, 2024 and gathered 150 young participants: inside, who were prepared for the UN climate negotiations through workshops and training.
