The world's largest urban microbrewery is officially opened

A cold beer on a hot day is one of the great joys of life. But it is even better to enjoy a cold beer on a hot day, while you let the look over the breathtaking backdrop of one of the most photogenic cities in the world.

Level33: The highest micro brewery in the world

This was the concept behind Level33, a unique place in Singapore, which was recently appointed by Guinness World Records as the "world's highest micro brewery in one building". The news was announced on March 12 on the Instagram and Facebook pages of the brewery.

unique innovation in brewing art

"We see this as a significant achievement for Level33 and as an opportunity to present the history of Singapore and his innovation -driven developments," said founder Martin Bem in a statement. One of these "amazing innovations" was the search for a location with enough space to brew beer in the busy and densely populated Singapore.

an impressive location

Level33 is 33 floors high - hence the name - in the Marina Bay Financial Center Tower, and opened in 2010. The brewing system was specially ordered from Europe, but most machines were too large to fit into the building of the building. Ultimately, the devices - 12 tanks, two copper brew boilers and a cooling machine - had to be brought up with a crane.

a breathtaking view

BEMS unconventional plan opened. Now the place on the 33rd floor means that the guests can enjoy a breathtaking view of famous buildings of the Singapore Skyline, such as the with its iconic roof pool, the Lotus -like Artcience Museum and the Ferris wheel Singapore Flyer. Especially at the sunset, the bar fills up quickly when happy Hour guests flow for drinks and photo options.

a special beer offer

The level of beer from Level33 includes the usual styles such as an IPA and a stout, but a very special creation is the brood beer, which is produced in collaboration with the champagne company Barons de Rothschild. This beer is only available on site. From now on, the main beer of the brewery, the Blond camp, will wear a label with the Guinness World Records logo.
