The lawyers of the players, German Hnatow and Analia Riveros, have stated that the allegations against their clients were not durable. "As we had expected, the French players were acquitted because the [sexual] act was mutually acceptable. There was no crime and no doubt about their innocence," said Hnatow after the hearing on Tuesday.

Just two days after the great victory, Auradou and Jegou were arrested after a woman had claimed that they had become violent in their hotel room.
