The stage is prepared! In Baiersbronn, an exciting adventure for the new European mini chefs begins! With a glamorous kick -off event, the starting signal for the training of 24 talented children, who are familiarized with cooking and gastronomy. The next two years promise a lot of exciting insights into the world of the hotel industry!

Applications were in demand and the demand was huge! By the beginning of August, children between the ages of ten and twelve had the opportunity to apply for this coveted place. After a careful selection, 24 young chefs can now show what they are made of - a real award! The tourism director of Baiersbronn, Christina Palma Diaz, welcomed the young talents and presented them with chic work cases with first -class cooking equipment that they will need for their new adventure.

High tip of the craft

At 20 month meetings, the mini chefs will learn everything about the correct handling of food and immerse themselves deeply into the exciting dedication of gastronomy. Renowned partner companies such as the Hotel Bareiss and the Hotel Sackmann will act as a practice partner. There is also dietician Gisela Hogeaar-Klumpp, who will teach the little chefs everything about healthy and sustainable nutrition.

The highlight of the two -year training? An exam at the IHK Nordschwarzwald, in which the children have to demonstrate their tangible knowledge in nutrition, food preparation and service. District Administrator Klaus Michael Rückert, the patron of the Baiersbronn mini chefs, accompanies the young generation on this culinary path. A project that ensures the future of little chefs!
