Bloody conflict in Sudan: Civilian population under cruel siege!

UN and human rights violations

The United Nations sharply criticized the parties to the conflict because they disregard humanitarian international law. According to Volker Türk, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, this disregard could be assessed as a war crime.
