Stadtwerke lower electricity and gas prices- this is how you save from 2025!

Good news for households in Klagenfurt and Detmold! From April 2025, customers benefit from the Energie Klagenfurt (EKG) from clearly reduced electricity and guest tariffs. The basic supply tariff "EKG classical" reduces the electricity price from 23.6 cents to 17.7 cents per kilowatt hour, which corresponds to an annual saving of around 50 euros if an average consumption of 3,500 kWh. The guest tariff also falls: from 9.59 to 8.99 cents per kilowatt hour, which brings with it a saving of 120 euros per year, such as OE24 reports .

There are also gratifying news in Detmold: Stadtwerke will reduce electricity and natural gas prices on January 1, 2025. The reduction follows the board decision to pass on the sunken wholesale prices to customers. The electricity price in the basic supply tariff "Detmold climate current classical" is reduced by 3.15 cents per kWh gross, which means annual savings of around 66 euros if the household consumption of 3,000 kWh. In addition, customers benefit from a loyalty bonus of 80 euros for electricity and natural gas, which is credited to the 2024 annual consumption statement in February 2025. With new special products, such as the "Detmold climate flow Fix 2025/2026", customers receive a price advantage of 58 euros per year with a consumption of 3,000 kWh and a final bonus of 120 euros. These options are available both existing and new customers that can benefit from the cheaper conditions by 2026.
