On the last day of 2024, the 32nd New Year's Run of the Sportunion Purkersdorf took place in Purkersdorf. Exactly at 2 p.m. the starting signal at the main square was given, where exactly a hundred participants were to demonstrate their sporting skills. The distance of 4.2 kilometers was dominated by Sebastian Steinbeck and Irene Reichl. Steinbeck crossed the finish line after only 13:08 minutes and thus secured the overall victory.
