The environment. Knowledge days in Lower Austria offered young discoverers between 10 and 14 years of age an exciting experience that took them into the world of science and climate protection. At 46 interactive stations, the children were not only able to develop their curiosity by watching a small tornado or examining the forest floor on the microscope, but also lending them hand. From boat construction with photovoltaics to experiments with dry ice, the kids were invited to expand their knowledge of various habitats and find creative solutions on how to make a positive contribution to the environment. According to a report by ORF Lower Austria, such events are crucial in order to promote environmental awareness in childhood and to use the infection of the youngest.
