Carinthian solo self-employed demand tax relief and reduction in bureaucracy!
Kärnten, Österreich - The one-person companies (EPU) in Carinthia are under enormous pressure. With over 23,200 independent companies in Austria, a fight against rising tax burdens and an overwhelming bureaucracy is spreading. Jürgen Mandl, President of the Carinthia Chamber of Commerce, emphasizes that 77 percent of solo self-employed people suffer from the high costs of energy and material. These challenges press the profits and have led to an alarming situation in which many entrepreneurs doubt their continued existence. Therefore, Mandl urgently calls for a noticeable relief for taxes and less bureaucratic hurdles to give the companies the opportunity to exploit their full potential, as reported by Klick-kaernten.at .
optimism despite adverseities
Despite the oppressive problems, many EPU operators show optimism. Three quarters of the respondents would again choose the path of independence, and 43 percent see signs of an upcoming economic upswing. There is also an interesting trend: a variety of self-employed people intend to continue working in old age, which promotes a new wave of "SilverPreneur" entrepreneurs who want to remain active in advanced age.
Jürgen Mandl also explains that the Chamber of Commerce is planning to increase the profit allowance to 100,000 euros and to reduce the inconsistencies. In order to get closer to the goal of a more entrepreneur -friendly environment, he also launched initiatives, such as the Makerspace Carinthia, which serves entrepreneurs as a creative area. These initiatives show that under Mandl's leadership there have already been some successes for the Carinthian economy, as reported by Austria.org
